CognitiveOPS is a management consulting firm specializing in operations improvement, project portfolio management and technology solution delivery. We build centers of excellence (COEs) within client organizations which serve as the heartbeat of performance improvement and business transformation initiatives. CognitiveOPS utzilizes project portfolio management techniques to govern projects that flow through the COE and facilitates investment management decisions based on performance management indicators. We develop business intelligence tools that enable clients to gain visibility of end-to-end operating results.

CognitiveOps understands the portfolio level view of data is about working with summary level intelligence. It is important to avoid information overload. The detail of each project should be kept at the project team level, managed by the individual project managers. Relevant performance information should be rolled up and presented to organization leadership as needed and on-demand.

CognitiveOps implements COEs with robust performance management tools which are used to evaluate projects at various control points of their lifecycle. At each control point, we engage our clients to aid in evaluating the business case, asking whether the projects are still relevant and able to achieve the stated objectives. If the answer is no, then the project should be stopped. This rigor of anlaysis enables us to stay laser-focused on delivering benefits and maximizing resource utilization so our clients achieve the best returns.
